Available in the comfort of your home (for clients within 15 km of the metropolitan area).

Purchase a postnatal care package before your baby arrives. I’ll meet with you and explain what you can expect , then we’ll book your regular appointments to ensure you feel ready to welcome your new bundle with confidence.

- emotional support for both parents (both mum and partner can often experience difficult feelings )
Research has shown that mothers who are supported with the same midwife for 6 weeks after birth are more likely to continue breastfeeding and have higher rates of satisfaction with their experience.
I am able to provide postnatal care to mums in Adelaide : to weigh your baby and provide reassurance and support where there are concerns about weight loss.
I pride myself on empathic support for women and their partners who may be experiencing emotional difficulties with adapting to their role of parents.
Early discharge visits may be negotiated with approval from your obstetrician.
This service can be in conjunction with the service provided by Child and Youth Health.

FEES
$ 80 -110 out of pocket expense for home visit within metro area (where medicare rebates available + additional fee for travel outside 10 km radius).
$600 for a postnatal care package (4 Home visits within metro area – Medicare rebates may apply with referral from your OB).
